YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy at VIPCuts.

VIPCuts uses your information to look after your appointments with Laura.

This is a prototype. Laura’s contact details and final retention policy must be confirmed before public bookings open.

What we keep

Your name, email address, appointment details, and any mobile number you choose to add. For mobile visits, we also need the address where your appointment will take place. Please don’t add sensitive information to address fields.

Why we use it

We use these details to create your account, book and manage appointments, contact you about changes, and help protect the booking system against misuse. Appointment emails are part of the service. Text notifications are optional and can be switched off in your account. We do not send marketing messages through this system.

Who can access it

You can view your own bookings. Laura can view client records to run VIPCuts. The website uses hosting, database and delivery providers to operate the service: Vercel, Neon, Resend when email is connected, and Twilio if text messages are enabled. Cloudflare Turnstile is used when configured to protect sign-in from automated abuse. Providers may process information outside the UK under their applicable data protection arrangements.

Cookies and security

An essential sign-in cookie keeps your session secure. There are no advertising or analytics cookies in this application. Sign-in sessions expire after 30 days for clients or 12 hours for Laura. Security records help us limit repeated requests and investigate problems.

Keeping and removing records

Expired sign-in codes and sessions are cleaned up by the scheduled maintenance job. Sent message copies are removed after 30 days and administrative audit records after one year. Appointment and client records are retained until Laura reviews and removes or anonymises them; the final business retention period will be confirmed before launch.

Your choices

You can update your contact details and text preferences in your account. Contact Laura to request access, correction or deletion of your information, or to raise a privacy concern. Some records may need to be retained where required for legal obligations. You can also raise a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
